Nai'a

These are Nai'a, as they are known in Hawaii, or dolphins. This pod of Hawaiian spinner dolphins swam right over top of me as I twisted upward to watch them pass. Shutter clicking. In awe. They eyeballed this human water explorer carefully. Spinner dolphins rest, slowly swimming in shallow bays during the day and then head offshore to hunt at night.
